Our black bears are hunted in both the spring and in conjunction with our main species hunts in the fall. Because of the high density of bears in the Toby Creek, you have a good opportunity of harvesting a dandy trophy. This is a fair chase hunt using spot & stalk technique, giving us bears anywhere between 5'6" to 6' in size! We also have 15 - 20% color phased bears and we start hunting them in May through to the middle of June.
